The barn is ideally positioned for exploring Norfolk and Suffolk. There are numerous walks from the cottage. Medieval St. Peter’s hall and brewery, ½ mile away, offers brewery tours and food. Southwold, Walberswick, rspb reserves, fishing lakes, coastal walks and Norwich city are within ½ hours drive. Bungay, 3 miles has shops and amenities. Shops 3 miles, pub ½ mile.

We spent 4 nights in this beautiful wonderfully well equipped cottage. The friendly lovely owners Maggie and Eric were on hand if we ever needed anything. The conservatory was a great bright place to relax and so warm and cosy. We would highly recommend this cottage, you would not be disappointed. Donna, Nick and Archie the dog.

What a fantastic holiday cottage. One of the very best we have stayed. Spotlessly clean very well equipped beautiful gardens and settings, maggie and eric landlords extremely lovely and welcomming. Thier was nothing to dislike and we would definantly return again.

The Swallows Nest was such a perfect holiday cottage, the conservatory in particular really was wonderful and a lovely space to relax in early April.There is lots to do in the local area, but a car is needed as no amenities within walking distance. Bungay was a lovely village to visit and local. Went to the Green Dragon on Eric's recommendation and had a lovely pint. Maggie & Eric we both wonderful hosts and we will be recommending The Swallows Nest to our friends and family.
