Some maintenance issues with the property (poor lavatory flush; broken wardrobe door). Dustbins inadequate (should have extra bins for 3 properties). Main issue - multiple dogs housed by the proprietor, which bark and are disturbing, especially when they are left unattended. An irony that the guests are asked NOT to leave dogs unattended.It's a long way from the day area to the single W.C. including stairs. Need to be aware of this if you have mobility issues.

Dove Cottage is a real home from home. It is spacious and comfortable with top quality linens, beds and kitchen equipment. It's extremely dog friendly and has a small but secure garden. The surrounding dog walks are excellent: you can walk to the Millenium Park or drive to Southwold and enjoy the beach. The cottage is close to the shops and local eateries. Janet and Brian are lovely, considerate hosts too. We'll definitely be returning.
