With an emphasis on luxury, this is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway, and the wood burner in each property ensures a cosy and inviting welcome in the colder months. Ideally located to enjoy all Suffolk has to offer, with the coast, countryside and culture all on the doorstep.
Framlingham is home to an historic castle with its impressive moat, and offers pubs, cafés and independent shops to browse at your leisure. Southwold is only a short drive to the east where you can explore the winding streets that lead to the traditional seaside pier, and the brightly coloured beach huts that pepper the shoreline. Surrounding the cottages are fantastic walks and country pubs, waiting to invite you with open fires, comfy seating and a Suffolk welcome. Beach 15 miles. Shop 2½ miles, pub and restaurant 3¾ miles.

The Cowshed is situated on a farm in the lovely South Suffolk countryside. You have to be alert to find the sign for the Green Valley Farm along the B1117 between Laxfield and Ubbeston Green, but when you enter the farm you find a charming set of farm buildings, the first on the left being The Cow Shed. When you first enter the front door, you enter an amazingly charming apartment which has everything you need to enjoy a most relaxing time for your country escape.Everything is well appointed, including a fully equipped kitchen and a wood burner should the weather turn cold.It was quiet and central to many interesting destinations including Aldburgh and Southwold on the coast and historical interest in Framlingham and Woodbridge. There are a number of charming, and tasty, eateries in the local area. All in all a wonderful find and we will certainly visit there again at the earliest opportunity. Roll on.

Lovely peaceful cottage in such a lovely part of the country. Only marked down a star because of the sensor light in the bathroom that only stays on for approximately 180 seconds and that has been mentioned numerous times in the visitors book.
