We had an amazing stay at The Kingfisher Lodge! It was so relaxing.Pros: It was lovely and quiet, think this was due to the fact we visited in JanuaryThe hot tub was amazing after a day of exploring the local area! Great Yarmouth and other seaside locations are within 30minutes drive Fully fitted kitchen Cons:There was lack of some basic things that you would have expected e.g Hand-wash, kitchen roll, washing detergent (we didn't know there was a washing machine so didn't bring detergent and didn't see the point in buying some for a few days stay), bin bags. There was alot of works going on in the park, especially some just behind the double bedroom window which started at 7am everyday, which is understandable due to the time of year but prewarning when arriving would have been nice There was no TV in either of the bedrooms, one in the double would've been nice as could've drowned out the noise of the workmen (there is a TV point directly opposite the bed so no need to add stuff in)There is no WiFi which it states in the description, but the major issue is neither of us had any signal while at the lodge. We are on O2 and Vodafone so two separate providers, this was worrying incase of an emergency as we couldn't make calls or access the Internet for any information. As for comfiness, the sofa has probably seen better days unfortunately it wasn't very comfortable. The same with the mattress in the double room, we both woke up every day with back and leg ache :(Overall we had a lovely stay, we visited Great Yarmouth and the Sealife Centre aswell as Thrigby Wildlife Park which was lovely! The lodge was clean and warm when we arrived, thankyou to Sue who had cleaned the Lodge before we arrived! We would return for another trip if there was availability in the future.
