Guests have enjoyed the peaceful setting and wildlife of the property, appreciating its spaciousness and good location for exploring nearby attractions. The lodge's comfort and proximity to the beach have been praised, making it a favourable choice for a quiet break and family holidays.
The property was generally found to be clean, though some guests mentioned issues such as leaves, cobwebs, and a need for a more thorough clean in certain areas. However, these seem to be isolated incidents rather than the norm.
The location is highly regarded for its quiet beach, scenic walks, and proximity to Great Yarmouth, Norwich, and local villages. The setting within a park rich in wildlife adds to its charm.
Most guests found the lodge comfortable, with cosy beds and a warm atmosphere. Some issues with heating control and sofa comfort were noted, but overall, the property provided a comfortable stay.
Facilities were adequate but several guests encountered maintenance issues such as problems with the oven, TV, hoover, and shower controls. An absence of welcome packs and appliance instructions was also noted.
While some guests expected welcome packs based on the website listing, there were no specific mentions of gifts. Therefore, it cannot be confirmed whether thoughtfulness in the form of gifts is a consistent practice at this property.

The chalet was in a lovely location and was clean. We had everything we needed close by and the chalet was well equipped for all our needs.Very enjoyable stay, will definitely visit again.

The chalet could have done with a clean tbh. I couldn't use the hoover as it was clogged with hair and fluff. There was broken glass in one of the wardrobes, I had to clean the chest of drawers before I could use it for clothes and the shower seals in the main shower-room need replacing as they are badly discoloured.I would stay there again, however, as the location is good. It's just a few minutes down to the beach and there are woods across the road. Ideal for dogs.

Took dad for Xmas. He has limited mobility. There are three steps to the veranda which he managed well. Once inside he found the layout easy to negotiate,we were impressed by the space, the layout and the equipment. It was warm and cozy . The beds were really comfy , each bedroom had a walk in wardrobe and one room is en-suite . The site is lovely under a canopy of interesting trees . Apparently the site was once a part of a house belonging to the Coleman’s of Mustard fame and Mrs Coleman loved trees .It’s not far to the village where there is a nice pub but the pavements are bad and there is little street lighting so it was hard for dad’s chair. Undeterred we visited the club on the holiday camp. There’s a massive tesco 5 mins drive away. Short drive to Yarmouth or Lowestoft . A lovely place for a quiet break . We will return !
