Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the area has much to offer the nature-loving visitor, with its expansive farmlands, marshlands, sand dunes and wildlife all ready to be discovered. This seaside retreat has an attractive green facade and is perched on a tiny triangular green with a large tree in the middle. Southwold offers plenty to the curious visitor, with its colourful beach huts, amusement pier, lively arcades and independent shops (all within 0.5 miles). Wonderful walking opportunities abound along the River Blyth estuary (1 mile). The nearby villages of Walberswick, Reydon and Dunwich are all well worth the trip (1.5 miles, 1.5 miles and 8 miles respectively) for when you fancy a change of scenery.
