Twitten Cottage, formerly a fisherman's cottage that has a courtyard garden, is close to the beach and town centre in Southwold, ideal for exploring the Suffolk coastal villages and countryside. The amenities in the town include a market place, specialist shops, a hotel and a promenade as well as a common. A footpath goes to the harbour where there is a foot ferry to Walsberswick in the summer.
