    Mrs Bennett – 1 Mar 2019
"It is spacious, comfortable and warm, with the heat regulated by us. The position of the cottage is superb, close to Ironbridge Gorge and other lovely scenery. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
    Mrs Pownall – 1 Oct 2018
" The cottage was warm on arrival and the welcome gifts were very much appreciated. Ideally situated for the excellent Ironbridge Gorge attractions. Excellent communication from the owner prior to visiting. Thank you Steve and Alison for sharing your beautiful home. "
    Mrs Worland – 1 Sep 2018
"Those attractions looked close on the map (perhaps within walking distance for younger legs?!) but no, we had to use the car! Thoroughly enjoyed all of the attractions visited using our annual passport ticket. Birds in Valley Cottage's garden were a joy. Especially so after we topped up the feeders with sunflower hearts! We will recommend..."
    Mrs Buike – 1 Aug 2018
"The owners of the cottage were very attentive and rang us to make sure we knew about the key collections a few days before our holiday. The cottage was very near to all the museums in Ironbridge so it made for a stress free holiday."
    Mrs Skitt – 1 Jun 2018
"We love the peace and sitting in the conservatory looking out over the garden. The welcome pack is always looked forward to - lemon cake and cheese straws were a hit this year! The cottage is clean and very well equipped. Thank you Steve and Alison."
    Mrs Tucker – 1 May 2018

    Mr Hayes – 1 Apr 2018
"Welcome pack was well appreciated. Owner was very helpful and returned our call very quickly. Parking space good size for our mid sized car. Furnishings are comfortable and most items in the property are, or give the feeling of being fairly new. Rear conservatory is large and pleasant to relax in. Situated in the middle of all the museums, so within walking distance of all, and only 20 mins walk from the Iron bridge. Overall, a pleasant cottage to spend a holiday in."
    Mr Coles – 1 Nov 2017
"More than expected provisions in kitchen/bathroom. Good views of valley and garden bird life, from modern conservatory. Ideal location for visiting Ironbridge's museums. Many are walking distance, whilst enjoying the lovely scenery/industrial archeology, along the river. (Most attractions open year-round, so Valley Cottage perfect, for winter holiday). Handy bus-stop for Telford, Bridgnorth, or just into Ironbridge."
    Mrs Cowling
"The cottage was very well equipped and very comfy."
    - Mrs Coulthard, August 2016

    - Mrs Mayer, August 2016
"Everything we wanted was catered for, the welcome pack was lovely. Gorgeous conservatory overlooking the gorge, we spent most of our time when we were at the cottage in there, I now want one on our own house!!!"
    - Mr Wilkinson, October 2016
"Location very quiet so ideal if you just want to get away from everything. Provision of wifi very helpful in allowing you to find what was actually open during this time of year"
    - Mr Felstead, November 2016
"This was our second visit this year to the cottage but third to area (2016). Each time we have been warmly welcomed. The welcome gifts were greatly appreciated. The view was spectacular especially on the cold frosty morning as we watched the mist lift and the wonders unfold. We walked into a warm cosy house well-lit inside and out, as we arrived around 9.45p.m. Host who take pride in their cottage and try to ensure their 'guest' have a wonderful time. We felt at 'home' . Our sanctuary - the place where we are creating precious memories with family. Well equipped. Wonderful location - good base for exploring local areas. Each time we are learning/discovering new things. Fascinating bird-watching opportunities. Spent many hours in the conservatory reading and chilling. There is so much to see and do on the doorstep - Rosehill / Darby Houses, Blisthill (beef dripping chips, on hand experience of life in Victorian times, fireworks display), Tile Museum, China Museum and not forgetting Half Moon Public House - meals were outstanding, with top class friendly service (highly recommend), craft & antique centre and lovely tearooms. Ideal for walkers. Already counting the days to our next visit in June 2017."
