Guests consistently praise 'The Hop Bind' for its spaciousness, well-equipped kitchen, and beautiful views. The property is appreciated for its large social spaces, ideal for family and group gatherings. The hot tub is a popular feature, despite some minor temperature control issues. The welcoming hospitality hamper and the property's cleanliness are also highlighted, alongside its proximity to local amenities and attractions.
The property is frequently described as spotless, indicating a high level of cleanliness that guests appreciate.
The location is well-regarded for its lovely views and proximity to local towns and attractions, making it a great base for exploring the area.
Comfort is praised with mentions of comfy beds and beautifully decorated rooms, though there are minor comments about the need for warmer duvets and blackout blinds.
Facilities are generally seen as excellent, with a well-equipped kitchen and ample socialising space. However, some guests experienced issues with the wood-fired hot tub's temperature control.
While guests are delighted by the hospitality hamper, there are not enough reviews mentioning gifts to guarantee their provision, and thus the score is set to null.

Had the nicest weekend here. Close enough to town to walk. House had everything we needed. Loads of room. Photos don't do it justice. Once we got used to the hot tub fire it was easy to heat. Would have been easier to have electric one, but added to the adventure of weekend. And the men in our party enjoyed playing with fire!

We enjoyed our break very much. This is a lovely property in a lovely location, made better by the fact that the other half of our party were in the cottage next door(Hop Pocket). Very good value - just a couple of things - we found to hard to get the wood burner hot tub to the right temperature - either too hot or too cold. On the Friday night it was too cold but we eventually learned what to do the following day, although we then made it too hot for a while. Lovely idea but we would prefer another form of temperature control - when on holiday we didn't really want to spend time filling the wood burner a number of times. But it was still good. A couple of guests commented that they would have liked a mirror in each bedroom and that the bed duvets did not provide enough warmth. A good supply of blankets would be helpful. On day 1 we found the dining/kitchen area quite cold - nice underfloor heating but the room did not really warm up till late evening/Sat morning. We were very grateful for the supplies of milk, biscuits, cleaning accessories etc. And a big supply of crockery, glassware including cafetieres. All in all we accept that this an old property, which itself is nice, and this feedback is for consideration rather than intended to be negative. It was such a nice spacious property with plenty of room everywhere. And our younger guests loved the piano.
