Offering spectacular views over rolling countryside to the Malvern Hills, this beautifully converted former chapel enjoys a peaceful, rural and isolated setting in delightfully named Much Marcle – boasting three village inns, a historic house and three cider makers including Westons. Adjoining the owners’ home, but not overlooked, it is set within their 2-acre grounds and enjoys shared use of their lovely garden. One small dog is also welcome at the property. It is equidistant from the popular ‘black and white’ market town of Ledbury and the water sports of Ross-on-Wye (both 6 miles) and within easy reach of Eastnor Castle. An ideal holiday location to explore the many landscapes of beautiful Herefordshire, the Wye Valley and the historic remains of past conflicts in this Border country. Riding, golf, fishing and walks nearby.

What can I say about Orchard Chapel apart from fantastic. On arrival the owners were very friendly and welcoming, the cottage itself is beautiful and very very clean. The kitchen has got everything you need for your stay and is well equipped, the log effect gas fire gives it a warm and cosy feeling and is very relaxing. The bathroom is very nice and my wife especially liked the deep bath which she enjoyed relaxing in every night, the cottage is on a quiet lane and has great views over fields and the Malvern Hills. If you like walking just a short stroll up the lane and you can go for a walk along the ridge with fantastic views. Also a tour round Weston’s Cider Mill is a must it is great value for money and the cider tasting session at the end of the tour is very good. Also the pub onsite which is called the scrumpy house is very good and the food is absolutely delicious and great value for money, also the Welwyn arms is nice and the food is very good as well. If you want a chilled relaxing break with peace and quiet then Orchard Chapel won’t disappoint you at all. It is safe to say we will definitely be staying at Orchard Chapel again. Absolutely fantastic.

We were very happy with our stay in Orchard Chapel. The owner was lovely and explained everything to us when we arrived. The cottage is very cosy and comfortable with everything we needed for a lovely week away from home. It is only a short distance from two great pubs who both serve excellent food and there is lots of interesting places to visit in the area.
