Set on the grounds of the owner’s country home, Rambler’s Hideaway shares a communal entrance with the apartment above (Walker’s Retreat - UK45415) The shared space is perfect for kicking off your muddy boots after a day spent outdoors & benefits from a shared washing machine. Inside the apartment, there’s a calm and relaxing ambience. Tasteful décor compliments the character features, and the open-plan living space is perfect for enjoying your time together on holiday. A comfortable lounge area ideal for relaxing and watching TV, open to a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. There are two bedrooms, a master double bedroom with French doors out to the courtyard garden, and another single bedroom. The bathroom is a modern en-suite shower room, just off the master bedroom.

The accommodation was ok but the furniture was in poor condition and the back yard was untidy. Much of the garden furniture was used to hold up or plug gaps in the fence but a neighbour’s dog still found a way in on several occasions.We had very warm weather but couldn’t really enjoy the outside of the property.If booking, think about the location. It is in a lovely, quiet position but if you are visiting National Trust or Historic Houses properties, it may mean driving through Hereford, which always seems to be congested.Overall we did enjoy our break.

Ramblers hideaway is a lovely place to stay, clean, comfortable, well equipped and the owner is on hand if needed and approachable. It is very close to Heroford and lovely places to visit. We enjoyed our stay.

Had a really lovely stay felt really at home and had everything I needed.Lovely peaceful location with lots of local walks from the door. Garden nice to sit in on a sunny day overlooking fields. Lovely walks nearby at Symonds Yat and over the border into Wales. Hereford a great place with nice cafes and pubs and easy bus ride (check timetables as only limited service). I would love to stay again in the future.
