Very much enjoyed our stay at Border View. A comfortable little cottage with everything you need. We enjoyed meeting our hosts, who were very friendly and helpful. We would happily return to the cottage and the area - so much to see and do!

The holiday was lovely and made even better by having lovely weather, which meant that we were able to take advantage every day/evening of the shared garden that the owners had. The cottage was as expected for just 2 of us and a great base for visiting National Trust properties and Wales itself. It was well worth the price we paid and the owners were lovely people.

The cottage is compact, but has all the facilities needed, including toilets downstairs and upstairs. Bedrooms are a good size and beds comfortable. There is a nice garden space, with beautiful views, also a bench on the patio.A 5 minute drive to Kington, which has free parking, a few pubs, large Co Op and small Morrisons. There is also an hourly bus service to Hereford and Llandidrod Wells. We kept ourselves to ourselves but the owner Kate was always available, friendly and helpfulEnjoyed our stay despite the scorching weather. (Fortunately brought a fan with us.
