Guests say
Oak Tree Lodge receives glowing praise for its spotless presentation, peaceful countryside setting, and well-equipped, modern interiors. Guests consistently highlight the relaxing hot tub, spacious layout, and beautiful views, making it ideal for families, couples, and groups seeking a tranquil escape. Thoughtful touches such as welcome baskets and excellent communication from the host are frequently mentioned, though not guaranteed. Minor criticisms include firm mattresses, a small fridge, and occasional pet hair. Overall, the property is highly recommended for a comfortable and memorable stay in a serene location.
Cleanliness is repeatedly described as 'spotless', 'immaculately clean', and 'very clean and tidy' by numerous guests. Only one review mentions an issue with pet hair, but this is an exception among overwhelmingly positive feedback.
The location is praised for its peacefulness, privacy, and beautiful countryside views. While some note its remoteness and the need for a car, most guests appreciate the tranquillity and proximity to local attractions.
Guests frequently mention the lodge's comfort, highlighting spaciousness, cosy interiors, reclining sofas, and comfortable beds. A few guests found the mattresses too firm, but overall comfort is rated very highly.
Facilities such as the hot tub, fire pit, BBQ, outdoor furniture, and well-equipped kitchen are consistently praised. The only minor criticisms are the small fridge and a mention of a wasp nest, but these are rare exceptions.
Many guests mention thoughtful touches like welcome baskets, extra towels, and clear instructions, as well as excellent communication from the host. Please note that gifts such as welcome baskets are not guaranteed for every stay.
