The historic city of Hereford (15 miles) is home to an impressive cathedral, or you could head to the charming town of Leominster (12.5 miles) with its antique shops and Victorian style market. Hay on Wye (10 miles) is famous for its literary festival, independent bookshops and boutiques, and its thriving arts scene. There are also opportunities for canoeing, cycling and hiking. Local attractions include Kinnersley Castle (1 mile), Arthur s Stone (6.5 miles) and the Small Breeds Farm Park and Owl Centre (6.5 miles).
Stepping into this beautifully decorated and attractively furnished cottage you will find the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The cosy and welcoming lounge is a perfect space to relax in, with comfortable seating, TV, DVD and a Biomass wood pellet burner. The dining area is ideal for sharing a favourite family meal which you can prepare in the stylishly designed kitchen, equipped with an oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and washing machine. Going upstairs, there are two light and relaxing bedrooms: a double room with granary steps and a small balcony offering views over the meadow, and a room with a super king size bed which can be made up as a twin room on request.
There s also a shower room complete with a walk in shower and a WC. Outside, the shared garden offers plenty of space for you to enjoy an al fresco meal, a BBQ or a morning coffee. You will also be welcome to make use of some of the produce from the herb garden, the vegetable garden and the knot garden, which are surrounded by a variety of fig, pear and apple trees. There s also a grazing area and space in the stables for a pony. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 double, 1 super king size (which can be made into a twin upon request).
