About this property

This 16th century semi-detached barn conversion is the smallest of the four cottages and provides cosy accommodation. There is an open plan living area with spiral staircase leading to a charming beamed double bedroom with shower room off. The perfect cottage for a romantic break! This cottage can be booked with Refs 2216, 2217 and 3806 to accommodate up to 22 people.

Situated in the rolling hills of North Herefordshire, the tiny rural hamlet of Luntley is perfectly placed between Ludlow and Hay-on-Wye to see all that the heart of the Welsh Marches has to offer. Known as the "Jewel in the Crown" of the famous "Black & White Village Trail", the lovely little medieval village of Pembridge is near by and hosts beautiful half-timbered houses, three traditional country pubs as well as a fourteenth century market hall and church with a unique, detached bell tower. The countryside surrounding this gem of a village is also not to be missed, offering excellent walking, cycling, riding and fishing facilities in the local vicinity. The ancient, historic city of Hereford is nearby, as is medieval Ludlow with its four Michelin Starred restaurants.

    The barn conversion was comfortable and very well equipped with high quality pans and other kitchen facilities. Sandra and David were excellent hosts; David very busy watering hanging baskets. The area is rural with narrow lanes and tractors. Cake lovers should visit Westonbury Water Mill.
