One dog welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country). Private parking. No smoking.. A haven for wildlife and lying within a 10 acre Site of Special Scientific Interest, this detached, timber framed holiday cottage pre-dates 1650AD. Completely restored, tastefully furnished and decorated with beamed interior it enjoys its own quiet, secluded garden with furniture, views of a pretty dingle with rare plants and flowers and an ancient pack-horse bridge near the brook. There is parking for 3 cars and a BBQ.
The market town of Leominster is 4 miles away with shops, swimming pool and leisure centre, Ludlow is a 15 mile drive. There is a pub in Stoke Prior and golf course with restaurant 1½ miles away in Ford Bridge and a shop and garage in nearby Bodenham (1½ miles). The cottage is convenient for touring the Welsh borders, the Wye Valley, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Shropshire and the surrounding area. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

Would I recommend this Hollywall Croft, absolutely. First, let's start with the location, the croft sits in a Dingle, we travel with our we dog, and if you have a pet,.this place is outstanding, a fenced garden, and a plethora of countryside to explore.The building itself is amazing, timber framed, with all of the idiosynciesnof a 17th century building, a copy of the deeds from 1851 sit above an amazing fireplace (log burner included). The building is only 20m away from a grounded packhorse bridge, that is most probably medieval. We spent a week there, it's idyllic and when you look back on it from the field, is chocolate box perfect. You go here to switch off from the 21st century, I read a review from someone saying it needs 'updating', but respectfully, that misses the point. Would I go again, well, we are already booked. Hollywall Croft, it's my new perfect place. A big thanks to the owners, provided everything we need, but the good grace to leave us alone and enjoy our break.

This is the second time here. It's is such a lovely cosy cottage. Yes it not up to date, but thats part of the charm. No phone signal, no modern day smart TV with Netflix. Just watching the birds at the table and the wildlife. It is so nice to be away from everyone and cosy up to the fire and getting away from it all. Bliss!!!
