The Owl Barn provides the best of both worlds, with a luxury farm cottage in a peaceful countryside setting yet in close proximity to Leominster and the city of Hereford, with all its tourist attractions, shops and the world-famous black and white trial.

The Owl Barn is a beautifully converted, single storey cottage providing easily access open plan living space, ideal for families and friends looking to escape the busy lifestyle. The spacious open plan living room retains many of its original features, including exposed beams, high ceilings and traditional stone wall. The comfortable seating area with extra flexibility of the sofa bed, perfect for a relaxing night in front of the TV. A well-equipped modern kitchen providing everything guests need to have quality time with family and friends.

The cottage is completed by two luxury bedrooms, with a modern twist to ensure you have that a restful night’s sleep and in the morning wake up to the stunning countryside views. The cottage boasts a delightful family bathroom with an overhead power shower and beautifully tiled bathroom suite, a great place for a long relaxing soak after exploring what Herefordshire has to offer.

The large French patio doors from the dining area leads to a conservatory, where guests can unwind and admire the reaching views of the Black Mountains and the Clee Hills. The astounding countryside from an elevated position surrounds you with red kites soaring in the sky and in the evenings enjoy the sunset mirrored in the pool.

Head outside to acres of open space, offering guests an area for the children to run off some excess energy or to ride their bikes. A large lawned area for outdoor activities and evening cocktails.

Nudging the Welsh border, this is a fabulous location for walking, cycling and outdoor adventure. If you can tear yourself away from this delightful location, the charming town of Leominster sits under 3 miles away, with Tudor buildings bearing a selection of shops and cafes. It is a place surrounded with history and character as it dates back as far as the 7th century, where you can admire the architecture and pay a visit to the local museum.

Further afield on the Hereford/Shropshire border they are plenty of scenic towns and villages to explore. Ludlow, Pembridge and Tenbury Wells, one of Queen Victoria's favourite places. Hereford is not to be missed with its stunning cathedral, home to its ancient chained library and famous Mappa Mundi. There are many National Trust buildings around to view at your leisure, Berrington Hall, Croft Castle and Brockhampton are also well worth a visit, as is the Arboretum and Stockton Bury Gardens, on the doorstep.

Leominster is located in the border countryside where England and Wales meet along Offa’s Dyke. Dating back to the 7th Century, the town of Leominster possesses some fine architecture such as the Priory Church, along with a wide variety of shops, cafes and pubs, it is the ideal place in which to spend a lazy afternoon strolling around in pleasant surroundings. Nearby is the smaller market town of Tenbury Wells situated on the banks of the River Teme. Dating back to the Iron Age and said to have been called 'my little town in the orchard' by Queen Victoria, Tenbury Wells boasts a unique 18th century bridge built by Thomas Telford, the Pump Rooms, which housed baths where local mineral water was available, and many other listed buildings dating back to the 17th century.
