Guests say

Guests consistently praise The Granary for its immaculate condition, homely feel, and warm welcome from hosts Jan and John. The property is noted for its peaceful location, cosy atmosphere, and well-equipped facilities. Visitors appreciate the attention to detail, including festive decorations, and recommend it highly for a relaxing stay.

Reviewers unanimously mention the immaculate condition of The Granary, indicating exceptional cleanliness throughout the property.

The property is celebrated for its peaceful, rural setting and proximity to local villages and towns, though one mention of a rough track suggests some accessibility considerations.

The Granary is described as warm, welcoming, and cosy, particularly on the upper floor. One comment about a cooler lower floor slightly tempers the otherwise stellar feedback.

Facilities are generally praised for being well-equipped and maintained, with a special note on the festive decorations. A single mention of less efficient underfloor heating and rough towels indicates minor room for improvement.

Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, such as Christmas decorations and a festive atmosphere. While these gestures are warmly received, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

We have just returned from spending a magical Christmas at The Granary. A perfect location in peace and quiet. Immaculately presented and top quality finishes. We were made welcome from the minute we arrived. The owners are a lovely couple, who are present if required, but also keep their distance too. A huge thanks for how Christmassy, they made the Granary. A Christmas tree in the lounge and little decorations throughout every room. Even a Christmas Rubber Duck in the bath. Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful home with others.Gareth and Shaun

Our second stay here, and will be booking again for next year! The house is incredibly cosy in the winter months, it is a perfect place to bunker down and relax, and perfectly placed for a trip out to local towns!

Welcoming hosts and a comfortable stay. The Granary is quietly tucked away down country lanes and on a small farm surrounded by countryside views. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a rural escape. Only minor thing was that the towels were somewhat rough so if we were to stay again, I would bring my own. Kitchen well equipped for preparing and cooking basic meals. Lovely and warm upstairs and some super comfortable sofas to chill on after a busy day exploring!
