Set in an elevated position with sweeping views across open countryside, this is a beautifully converted barn. While the owners live nearby in the main farmhouse, the cottage benefits from its own access, parking and private entrance, and feels self-contained and independent. A welcoming porch provides space for muddy boots and outdoor layers. The barn is arranged over two levels, with three bedrooms sleeping up to four adults and a family bathroom on the ground floor. There is a king-size bedroom, a double bedroom and a small double bedroom, all finished in soft, neutral tones, along with a bathroom with a shower over the bath. A practical utility room sits alongside the bedrooms, with a washing machine and additional tea- and coffee-making facilities. Upstairs, the open-plan kitchen and dining area is light-filled and spacious, making the most of the far-reaching countryside views. A large dining table with bench seating and a well-equipped kitchen create a relaxed space for cooking, eating and lingering together. The generous lounge stretches from the front to the back of the cottage, layered with warm fabrics, books to browse and games to play, with windows framing the surrounding landscape.
Outside, a large table and chairs sit within your own seating area, overlooking rolling fields and open views. Guests are welcome to wander through the 20 acres of fields and follow the path down to woodland and the River Arrow beyond.
