Upon arriving at The Sunset Retreat, you are welcomed by honey-coloured stone and beautiful countryside views from every angle. Stepping into the bright and airy entrance hall, you are greeted by the spacious and stylish open-plan sitting and dining area. The sitting area offers sumptuous seating, where you can cosy up together in front of the roaring wood burning stove on those chilly winter evenings or relax and enjoy a board game together, whilst the dining area offers somewhere comfortable to enjoy a romantic meal together in the evening. Leading from the sitting and dining area is the spacious, well-equipped kitchen. The kitchen offers the perfect place to prepare your favourite meal or to try your hand at making something new.
Heading upstairs from the kitchen, is the spacious hallway, where you will find a cosy place to sit and enjoy a book or to get ready for the day ahead. The cosy bedroom features a cloud-like bed, which you can sink into after a busy day exploring the Cotswolds. A very relaxing stay. The Sunset Retreat is comfortable and well equipped with all we needed. The weather was super too! the sunset in the evening was beautiful. We even drove up to the National Memorial Aboretum absolutely wonderful and well worth the visit. Other places included The Motor Museum at Bourton on the Water, Stow on the Wold, Chipping Norton and Hatton Locks. Thank you for the cake, just right with our cup of tea!
