Situated in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is the historic market town of Bishops Castle. This lovely town offers a weekly market and an excellent variety of shops, pubs and places to eat. The town is famous for its annual Real Ale Festival and regular fairs, which includes the popular Michaelmas Fair. The town is ideally placed for walking and touring the Welsh Marches and rural Shropshire, plus the towns of Ludlow and Shrewsbury are within driving distance. There are a number of other attractions nearby including; Powis Castle, the Severn Valley Railway and walks along stunning Offa's Dyke and The Shropshire Way. It is very good for public transport as the bus stops just around the corner. The views are lovely through the picture windows. Very quiet area. The gardens are very well maintained and a joy to walk around after a busy day. Lovely friendly owner, would def return.
