The pretty village of Cardington lies amongst the rolling hills of the South Shropshire countryside. Cardington boasts the oldest pub in Shropshire – The Royal Oak, mentioned in the Domesday Book! Its rural situation is ideal for sightseeing, with miles of country walks in all directions, not to mention the beautiful Shropshire hills - a draw for walkers, riders and nature lovers alike! A wealth of birdlife (including buzzards, woodpeckers and ravens) has its home here. Severn Valley Steam Railway, Stokesay Castle, Shrewsbury, Ludlow and the Ironbridge Gorge, with its 10 museums, are each less than 20 miles away. The attractive market towns of Church Stretton (known as "Little Switzerland" by the Victorians) and Much Wenlock are both close by and offer a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. A superb location!

Family of 20 stayed in the Cirn house and attached annex. There was so much room and everything was laid out superbly. The quirkiness of the rooms was lovely and cosy. There was everything you could think of and more. Sara was always on hand to offer any help or we needed anything. The small and bigger kids enjoyed collecting the eggs in the morning which was a lovely extra. There are reviews about the pool cost but we had one complimentary session for 90 minutes during our stay and enjoyed it so much we booked for the next day. I would highly recommend this accommodation and cant wait to go back

Family 50th wedding anniversary celebration with 17 family members aged between 11 and 71. The property and surrounding facilities were enjoyed by all including the superb swimming pool/gym complex, tennis court with large ride on pedal carts and games rooms.The properties were extremely comfortable in all respects and beautifully furnished meeting all our needs. Stunning surrounding countryside. Just perfect.
