Cockshutt 3.6 miles. This expansive property is set across the ground floor in a rural location outside the village of Bagley Marsh. With free-roaming chickens in the grounds, ponies in the adjacent field and a heated swimming pool, this is a lovely property for families looking to spend quality time together at any time of the year. The main sitting area is found in the conservatory which is bright and spacious and has doors out to a patio and small lawned area. The open plan living area has a modern kitchen area, a dining area with space for the whole group to gather together and a smaller sitting area with comfortable sofas.
The bedrooms are well-equipped with a TV and en-suite facilities and there is an additional bathroom, shower room and cloakroom available. Outside, children and adults alike will enjoy the swimming pool, located in its own cabin, which is heated all year round and provides entertainment no matter what the weather. There are a number of exciting activities available just a short distance away with paintball, go-karting and even hovercraft racing on offer. This is an ideal location for anybody looking to explore Oswestry, Ellesmere and Shrewsbury which each offer a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. With a number of National Trust properties in the area and charming walking routes, there is something to suit all tastes.

Overall a really fabulous property for a few days away with friends - including a couple with disabilities where the ground floor accessibility was amazingâ¦well equipped and comfortableâ¦lovely and warmâ¦great for our dogs both indoors and outdoorsâ¦swimming pool was a great bonus for the kidsâ¦minor issues such as cold tap in bedroom 6 needs attention and shower not drainingâ¦behind the sofas in the conservatory was very dusty (we were retrieving the dog toys so noticed this) - we will definitely consider returning x

The swimming pool seemed to have a high concentration of chlorine in it this time, everyone who used it came out with sore eyes and some of the children coughing from it. We only used it once. It didnât take anything away from the holiday though and was just a small thing I wanted to mention. Properly was clean, kitchen well equipped, loved the work to the conservatory area, TV well set up, and Christmas decs looked lovely. Thank you so much - have already booked for next year!

We had such a good time. No negatives but just a couple of extras would enhance our stay. A couple of nest of tables for putting drinks and nibbles on while sitting in the conservatory. All bedrooms were lovely and the convenience of toilets in bedrooms as well as one in the dining area made the stay so comfortable for all. We have booked again for next year and we are hoping for better weather to use the lovely outdoor space. The pool was definitely a great addition to the enjoyment. All round a great property. Also the communication from the owner was first class. Putting the Christmas tree up for us was a lovely touch . Looking forward to next year :)
