This detached lodge is sat on the owners small holding in a superb location for exploring the delightful borderlands of England and Wales, with the historic market town of Oswestry with its fine selection of shops, restaurants and pubs just 4 miles away. The location offers a myriad of family attractions and opportunities for outdoor pursuits close by. Canadian canoes can be hired on the nearby Montgomery Canal and horse drawn boat rides can also be enjoyed.
Wonderful walking, golf and fishing are all available nearby. The historic city of Chester and Shrewsbury are both under an hour’s drive and Snowdonia National Park is easily accessible. Shops and restaurants 4 miles, pub 1 mile.

Couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. Considering we booked at the last minute, the owners made sure we were totally welcome by leaving plenty of gifts for us. Would 100% go again and recommend Bumble Lodge to anyone.

Beautiful Lodge with everything for a relaxing stay. Spotless clean. Welcome pack on arrival included milk, eggs, bread, wine, jams, and home made cake . Owners have made this a very beautiful holiday lodge indeed. Only suggestion would be a fan or something to cool the bedroom down as it was a very hot weekend. Definately recommend
