Next to the owner's house on a working sheep farm, this beautiful detached barn conversion, The Old Cart House, has been carefully built, providing everything you could want in a holiday home. Separated from the owner's farmhouse by a wall to provide you with your own space, you can find a property suitable for a small family or a couples retreat, with ample parking and some sheep as neighbours! After you have reached the property up the single farm track, park up and head in through the glass doors, into the open-plan living space, with underfloor heating throughout, you will soon be warmed up.
Unpack your food in the kitchen and decide what's on the evening menu, before using the excellent appliances to cook a delicious meal in this spacious and well-decorated room. Serve up on the dining table for a quality sit-down meal, and afterwards retire to the sitting area in front of the flat-screen TV, perfect for putting on a group-favourite film in the evening. Downstairs is also home to a sparkling shower room, so there won't be any waiting in line for the bathroom in the morning. ! HA! We loved our visit to the "The Old Cart House"! I am simi-handicapped so at first I was worried about the stairs, but I only had to go up to bed, and then down to start the day as an upstairs and downstairs shower / bath room is a real find! I can walk some but we packed my push wheelchair, and my portable scooter for days adventures around the countryside. I must say however, the most wonderful view was from the hills of Sarah and Pete's farm... Pete offered a tour of the farm and it was the highlight of my trip, as I was raised on a cattle ranch in New Mexico USA. I wish I could attach a photo, I've had my Facebook friends comment it looks like a postcard! The house is off the beaten path, but we visited the Aqueduct and Ludlow Castle and ate lunch out afterward in November so nothing is far away. It was wonderful to have room to spread out! We have a very small home near London, and in our 60's, we enjoyed having a week each in a private bedroom, (lot's of people will appreciate a good marriage will benefit from some space on occasion!!) Comfortable furniture, couches, beds, wonderful kitchen, I can think of no improvement to suggest... Thank you Sarah and Pete, hope to visit you again! Katrina and Andy

The property was superb, very clean and well presented. Our hosts, met us as we arrived and offered help if needed. Pete even took us on a tour of the farm. We enjoyed the weather, walks and countryside peace. Thank you Sarah & Pete for offering this property for others to enjoy.

The Old Carthouse was beautifully furnished, the views were stunning and our hosts were extremely welcoming and very friendly. What more could you ask for. We will be back
