Ludlow, with its castle and timbered buildings, is a lovely town for a stroll and a refreshing cream tea, or step back in time with a trip to Acton Scott Working Farm, seen on TV as ‘The Victorian Farm’.

We were staying for a few days to attend a wedding at Rowton Castle and the house was perfect for our family of eight. We enjoyed the sauna and hot tub and the children loved the games room. It was nice to meet the owner who was very friendly and helpful. The house was very well equipped and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend a stay in this lovely house.

This property is loaded with facilities to keep you busy. The property was extremely clean and towels, robes and bedding smelt fresh. I will certainly revisit.

Four bedrooms, all on one level, two with en suite wet rooms, so excellent for those with limited mobility. Clean, comfortable, well equipped. Large garden with several seating areas. A little bit of road noise and from local peacocks, but fine indoors when windows closed. Check in details all accurate and straightforward. Good location for exploring Shropshire and neighbouring areas. Highly recommended.
