Walk into the pretty village of Pontesbury (1 mile) which has all the local amenities you would need, including some lovely pubs and a supermarket. Take a trip out to Church Stretton (11 miles), a popular market town with the National Trust owned Long Mynd providing a spectacular backdrop. Enjoy a round of golf and outdoor activities, or simply wander around one of the independent shops and cafes.

Shrewsbury is 7 miles away and worth a visit to marvel at the wonderful architecture from the Tudor period. Enjoy a stroll along the banks of the River Severn before stopping off at one of the many pubs and restaurants. After a full day exploring the area, make your way back to your lovely accommodation to unwind and relax. The property has been thoughtfully renovated to make use of the wonderful views across the Shropshire Hills.
