The national cycle route 81 is close by, and within a five-minute drive lies Nesscliffe Hills and the Cliffe Countryside Heritage Site. Home to a 70-hectare area of mixed woodland and heathland to explore; that’s about the size of 140 football pitches! There is a wealth of historical features and wildlife on the site and an extensive network of paths to explore. Ten miles away is Shrewsbury, full of finds to be discovered by foot or by boat, the café culture, farmer’s market, the castle and the churches that dominate Shrewsbury’s famous skyline are a must see. Oswestry, where Shropshire meets Wales and only 11 miles away. It’s an ancient Shropshire market town, so close to Wales that you can enjoy exploring both sides of the border. Had a lovely Christmas at this gorgeous barn. Very well equipped and lacked nothing. The hot tub was very well used and was very relaxing. Would certainly recommend the property, couldn't fault a thing.

Wonderful stay. Excellent accommodation. Debbie was very helpful (even offered us a late checkout). Whilst we didn’t eat the cake waiting for us on arrival, we took this home for my Grandad who very much enjoyed it. Thank you!
