Built in the 1850s, this semi-detached holiday cottage has been upgraded and is located on the outskirts of Minsterley with its own gardens and countryside views. Walking, fishing, horse riding and a number of NT properties are all available locally, and a short drive will take you into local towns such as Shrewsbury, Church Stretton, Ludlow, Ironbridge and Bridgnorth, and in less than 15 miles you can cross over the border into mid Wales. Shop and pub 500 yards, pub serving food 2 miles.

Really enjoyed our stay and was in a good location to lots of things to do. Having the open fire made it very cosy in the evening. Could have done with a mop especially at this time of the year with muddy paws. If you are coming with dogs that are used to going upstairs bring a stair gate with you as we found it tough with a stubborn sausage dog that thinks he is the king of the world!

Booked a week away for our anniversary found it great value for money idealy situated for such as iron bridge, Shrewsbury ect some great walks. The cottage was warm and had everything you needed for your holiday and it was a nice touch to get milk, eggs, tea and coffee. I think it should be said that some of the doors are small so if you're tall be aware before you knock your self out. That all said would definitely recommend.
