Outside, views extend over the rocky crags of the Stiperstones and the Shropshire Plain and there is a large enclosed lawn where little ones and pets can run off energy, and everyone can simply sit and relax together whilst taking in the beauty of the surroundings. A 10 minute walk away is the local pub which serves food and guest ales. A short drive away are the thriving villages of Minsterley and Pontesbury providing a good selection of further amenities including an award-winning butcher and bakery, and Pontesford Hill, Eastridge Woods, the Long Mynd and the Stiperstones offer stunning views, circular walking routes and many cross-country trails for all mountain biking abilities.

The property was very spacious inside and comfortable, apart from the settees. It's a bit tired looking and could do with a few updates such as in the kitchen and bathroom. There's plenty of space outside with amazing views. Anna the owner is lovely and the cakes she baked were just delicious. The boot room/ coat area is very big which is great as it keeps the mess/dirt from going further into the place. It's very remote so a lot of travelling to get to anywhere but it depends what you like.

Host Anna was warm and welcoming on arrival and throughout our stay. We had our two young grandchildren with us and they had the run of the large safe enclosed garden. Anna even provided some outdoor toys for them, also a brilliant selection of toys and games inside. William enjoyed the chess set.Thank you Anna for a great week in deepest Shropshire and not forgetting the Lemon drizzle cake and cookies. You're a Star baker. Mick, Pat, William and Alice

So peaceful with a huge enclosed garden which is safe for your dog. We have just visited for the 6th time so you can't get a better testament. The host is on hand if you need anything and nothing is too much trouble.
