There are many National Trust properties within easy reach of Alberbury, including Attingham Park, Powis Castle, Chirk Castle and Erddig. Ludlow, with its castle and timbered buildings, is a lovely town for a stroll and a refreshing cream tea, or step back in time with a trip to Acton Scott Working Farm, seen on TV as âThe Victorian Farm'.

Very relaxing, but not entirety private due to location of the connecting rentals entry door. The hot tub was super and the property had sufficient facilities and adequate equipment. Although it didn't really bother us, the TV in the bedroom had no signal. Cleanliness was not to our expected standard with huge cobwebs above the bed and in the connecting shower room, which caused a little mess on the bed as is fell. The toaster tray was full of crumbs and the microwave needed cleaning out before we could use it. Some pans needed additional cleaning before use.
