Shropshire's little market town of Bridgnorth is a great starting point for exploring the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which borders both Wales and England. The town hall, train station, real ale pubs, cosy cafes, and pleasant restaurants, as well as a few speciality stores bursting with delights, serve as the administrative centre for Shropshire council's northern area committee. If you're a fan of hiking, this is the spot for you. There are numerous trails and routes that take you through beautiful landscapes. If you're interested in mediaeval architecture and art galleries, check out the adjacent Tudor town of Shrewsbury.
