The cottage was beautiful … so well equipped and clean . A lot of effort clearly gone in to the conversion . It was so peaceful there, within the stables /farm environment . The owner living next door was reassuring , yet we were given our privacy . I would not hesitate to to stay there again . .. top recommend .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Milking Parlour which was very well equipped, warm, beautifully decorated, clean and quiet with thoughtful items left as a Welcome Pack.Excellent wi-fi connection, safe parking right outside the door, good choice of TV channels and for those who enjoy reading, the most brilliant choice of books to read in the amply stocked bookcase - a real home from home. The main reason for booking was to visit the National Memorial and Arboretum and The Milking Parlour is perfectly placed for this, just a 10 mile easy drive away.We would not hesitate to recommend this property to others and will book again when we want to return to the area.

This is a nice quiet location with a lovely patio garden in which to relax (weather permitting). The period cottage was very clean and the owner had kindly left information for us to read about its history which was very interesting. The owner had also left some food items and a bottle of wine which were greatly appreciated. We were visiting relatives in the area and will be very likely to book here again. The property is well maintained and the kitchen had everything we needed, there was also some toiletries in the bathroom.
