If we owned a holiday let, we would want it to look a bit like The Stables. Location is great, far enough away from everything to feel isolated, but close enough to villages and towns to be able to get everything you need. Outside, there is enough space for parking, a little covered space, handy for taking off boots and wet coats (we had plenty of practice at that!!), and a small area of grass to sit and enjoy the sunshine, if you are lucky enough to see some! Inside is clean, tidy and well planned and organised. Two double bedrooms with very comfortable beds, a large bathroom housing a shower cubicle, with hot water and plenty of pressure. The open plan kitchen/living space is large enough for a family of four, whilst feeling cosy. A wood burner adding to the efficient central heating provides a warm space to escape the awful weather we experienced. This cottage has no mains electricity, and is supplied wholly by solar panels, but despite seeing almost no sun for the five days we were there, didn’t notice any loss of supply. As you would expect in the middle of nowhere, the WiFi was a little slower than you probably have at home, but we didn’t have any complete outages. Overall, we loved staying at The Stables, and would definitely want to visit again.

This was our fifth visit to The Stables. We love staying here. The Stables is a beautiful property, very cosy and great amenities. We love the setting and we enjoy seeing all the animals. We hope to visit again next year.
