You will find this comfortable apartment, which is situated in a Georgian house, in the picturesque village of Whittington situated between the city of Litchfield and the town of Tamworth. The apartment has been thoughtfully decorated throughout with attention to detail. Relax in the open plan living/dining/kitchen area alongside the double bedroom with modern en-suite facilities. Outside you will find a wonderful quiet paddock area to enjoy.
Ideally situated close to Lichfield which has a rich and varied history, with Georgian museums including the Samuel Johnson Birthplace and Erasmus Darwin House, or why not visit the stunning medieval Lichfield cathedral. A must for visitors to this area is the inspiring National Memorial Arboretum featuring over 330 thought-provoking memorials, nestled amongst lush and maturing woodland.
There really is plenty to do including the Chasewater Railway, Beacon Park, National Forest Adventure Farm, Drayton Manor Theme Park and The National Brewery Centre. For a leisurely day take a stroll along the Coventry Canal pathway.

I don't usually write reviews, but the owner was so unhelpful and horrible to deal with, this needs sharing. Firstly, I had a photo addressed to someone else sent to me with how to find the key codes etc. When I booked, the property had advertised wifi, but there was none - apparently she cancelled it because it was too expensive and when I called to ask - I was told she couldn't afford it. She then went onto say she asked a neighbour if they could share and was told no. In this day and age when people have to work and do calls at unsociable hours, this should be available and there's really no excuse not to have the basics, particularly when it was advertised. There were also a few threatening notes saying I'd be fined for various things if I didn't comply, such as locking myself out or leaving a door open etc. There was a TV, but it didn't work. The toilet was filthy, obviously someone had done their business and just left it. Gross. I did not actually end up staying in this property. Despite the extra expense, I moved into a hotel, which was a much more pleasurable experience.
