Downstairs, there’s a twin bedroom with two single beds that can be converted into a kingsize bed upon request. The cottage boasts a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook up a storm. Two steps down from the front door, the living area opens to an open garden and a private patio, perfect for enjoying the stunning countryside views. Well-behave dogs are welcome, even horses are welcome by prior arrangement.

Comfortable, clean and neat. The perfect base. My only thoughts for improvement would be to have a few basics in the kitchen, salt pepper some vegetable oil. The things that are a pain to buy for the small quantities you use whilst away. Property is very dig friendly, no silly rules that are impossible to follow, but with no enclosed garden space toileting is a bit of a palaver, it has to be on lead and the garden area is shared with the neighbouring cottage. Less than ideal at 1am when you don’t want to disturb the other guests. Provide a fenced in area and it would be so much easier!
