The owner Mark is welcoming, friendly and very informative about the local area. The welcome pack is excellent as are the jams and chutneys available to purchase. We walked from the cottage around quiet country lanes and everyone greeted us. There is a wealth of places to visit within an hours drive but coming home to such a cosy house after a cold and damp day was fabulous. We intend to return- the best Sykes accommodation we have stayed in.

We had everything we needed from the off and felt right at home. Being able to explore the beautiful grounds was an added bonus and the cottage was well situated to explore the towns and villages in the region. A wonderful holiday and we hope to return.

Lots of extras you donât get elsewhere. Owners on hand and extremely helpful. Made us welcome and comfortable with tasty treats which we were able to purchase extra supplies on our way home. Apple and Sultana Chutney was delicious! Thanks Mark for our stay and hope to see you again next year.
