Guests say

Guests consistently praise Housekeeper's Cottage for its charm, peacefulness, and welcoming hosts. The property's cleanliness, beautiful gardens, and thoughtful touches, such as a welcome pack, contribute to a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The cottage's location is ideal for exploring Shropshire's attractions, and its comfort and facilities receive positive remarks, ensuring a memorable holiday experience.

Reviewers frequently commend the cottage for its exceptional standards of cleanliness, often describing it as immaculate and tidy, which indicates a high level of attention to detail in maintaining the property.

The cottage's location is highly praised for its quiet, rural setting, which provides a peaceful retreat. Its proximity to local attractions and ease of access to nearby towns and historical sites contribute to its favourable location score.

Comfort is a highlight in the reviews, with guests finding the cottage cosy and the beds comfortable. The presence of a wood burner and the property's tranquil atmosphere add to the overall comfort of the stay.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and ample heating options. However, a few guests noted the lack of sockets in convenient locations and the absence of a bathtub, which slightly impacts the score.

The hosts' thoughtfulness is evident through the provision of welcome packs, which include items like fresh bread and homemade jam. While these gifts are greatly appreciated by guests, it is politely noted that such extras, while delightful, are not guaranteed.
