There are two king size rooms, both with walk in wardrobes and ensuites, as well as three large twin bedrooms and family bathroom with separate bath and shower. The open plan living area has seating for all and more, with an elegant dining area, fully equipped kitchen for large meals, including a dishwasher. Head out the French doors for the outside decking area, where you can soak in the hot tub and enjoy the surrounding English countryside.

Lovely spacious lodge. Well designed so that 10 people were able to enjoy a weekend away. The seating and dining areas are great for all gathering around. Kitchen well equipped and the dishwasher a blessing!Fridge freezer perfect size.All in all an excellent long weekend.

We were 7 in our party (should have been 8). We found there was a shortage of kitchen equipment in some areas. For example, a cafetière would have been nice (we have always had these in other lodges). There were insufficient dessert spoons for 8. Some large pyrex veg/casserole dishes would have been welcome - there was only one medium sized glass bowl, and one covered vegetable/casserole dish - much too small to serve 8. Also, a long handled fork would have been useful a fish slice and some slightly larger saucepans: again, had the lodge been let to capacity (i.e. ten people) the saucepans provided were not really big enough for that size party. This is the only area of concern.EVERY THING ELSE WAS UP TO DARWIN ESCAPES VERY HIGH STANDARD. THANK YOU.
