Visit one of the National Trust properties including Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, Baddesley Clinton, Packwood House. Have a day out in Alcester (7 miles), rich in cafes, shops and pubs and boasts a Roman Heritage Museum. Nearby is is also Coughton Court or explore Warwick Castle, Kenilworth Castle and Compton Verney Art Gallery and Park. Head west to Bromsgrove’s (11 miles) unique open air museum Avoncroft Museum of Buildings or visit The National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham (18 miles). Take countryside walks, stroll along the rivers and canals, go fishing, rowing or cycling and explore Warwickshire’s Way. As you head back outside you will see the old brick-lined well, dating back to 1850, with railings and a glass cover to peer down as far as the eye can see. Enjoy morning coffee on the patio with pretty flower borders listening to birdsong and embracing the view over the garden and beyond. Take a picnic in the orchard or by the two wildlife ponds and wander the 11 acres of grounds. If you are keen on cycling there is a lockable bike store available. Ample parking at the property. Please note the property is located in an 11 acre smallholding with sheep, working dogs and fowl, near to the owners home though privacy is assured. This is a no-smoking property.
