A lovely, comfortable and spacious bungalow, perfect for couples, small families, friends, people on business and guests with limited mobility. With far reaching stunning views of Kenilworth Castle and the Warwickshire countryside. It’s a quiet and peaceful spot on the edge of Kenilworth, situated on a working arable family farm set over 460-acres, which is also home to Hereford cattle. The farm is steeped in history having been part of the Kenilworth Castle estate until the early 20th century and contains some important historical features.
Within 100 yards of the property, you’ll find the Millennium Way, a 100 mile walk in the heart of England but maybe you’ll just want to do part of it! It leads you to the centre of the market town of Kenilworth (approximately 1 mile) where you can visit the castle ruins and Elizabethan gardens, sample the many different restaurant cuisines including a Michelin starred restaurant, go shopping in the many independent and artisan shops or visit one of the four local nature reserves.
A short drive will take you to the nearby towns of Stratford-Upon-Avon where you can discover more about William Shakespeare and enjoy the River Avon, Warwick with its famous castle offering fun for all the family, Leamington Spa, the city of Coventry with its cathedrals old and new, and home to The Wave, a fun water park and England’s second city of Birmingham boasting fantastic shopping and events. It’s also a great location to attend an event or exhibition at Stoneleigh Park or the NEC.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chase Lodge and would definitely return should we want to visit that part of the country again. It was clean and spacious, set in its own grounds (without any overlooking neighbours) and had everything we needed for our holiday (the pint of milk and biscuits were a nice welcoming touch). Kenilworth town is only 5mins drive away, with plenty of shops and eating places and there are lots of places to walk, some straight from Chase Lodge - we enjoyed the half hour walk across the fields to Kenilworth castle. We would definitely recommend this property.
