We love this super chocolate box cottage with traditional beams and inglenook and a stunning modern interior.. Ground Floor:
Living room: With Smart TV.
Kitchen/dining room: With electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer dryer and bi-fold doors leading to garden.
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed.
Bedroom 2: With double bed.
Bathroom: With shower cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail.. Electric underfloor central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Enclosed garden and patio with garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. What a treat! This lovely, thatched cottage has been lovingly renovated by the current owners, once their own home, now to make a fabulous, detached holiday let for their guests. You are greeted by a light and airy entrance leading to the kitchen diner which boast bi-folding doors and full ceiling height windows to the walled south facing garden, a real sun trap! The well equipped kitchen is perfect for rustling up a nice breakfast or evening meal, however with plenty of nearby pubs in the surrounding villages, why not treat yourself to a lovely meal prepared by someone else. There are plenty of original features and newly created ones to make the most of the space including beams throughout, a lovely open tread oak staircase with glass balustrades and a small window opening from the dining area into the living connecting all the social spaces. Upstairs you will discover 2 well-appointed bedrooms decorated beautifully and a lovely shower room.
Located in the peaceful village of Little Kineton, you can immerse yourself into village life, buying local produce from the nursery, sitting by the traditional duck pond or discovering the many walks into the countryside and to the neighbouring village of Kineton where you’ll find local facilities including pubs, convenience store, post office, butchers and a Co-op. Compton Verney is just under 2 1/2miles away where you can discover the art gallery with its many collections and exhibitions and enjoy the park with its labyrinth, bird hide, pond dipping and playground. For more outdoor fun, head to Burton Dassett Hills the perfect country park for walks, flying a kite or eating a picnic whilst admiring the views of rolling hills and open countryside. The National Trusts Upton House and Gardens, Charlecote Park, Farnborough and Hidcote are all within easy reach. The stunning towns and villages of the North Cotswolds can be reached in just over 10 minutes where you can explore Chipping Norton, Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold or Woodstock, home to Blenheim Palace. Within 20 minutes’ drive are the market towns of Banbury and Royal Leamington Spa which are full of high street and independent shops, pubs, cafés, and restaurants. Also a similar distance is Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick with its famous castle, Bicester Village, famous for its shopping village.
