Settled into the beautiful countryside of Wasperton near Barford, offering off-road parking and ample amenities, The Chicken Shed is a fantastic rural getaway for a couple looking to explore Warwickshire. Be welcomed by off-road parking and unpack into a beautifully furnished open-plan living space, with a light and airy atmosphere and wooden roof beams threaded throughout. Here guests can kick off their shoes and relax beside the woodburning stove with a coffee in hand, planning the day ahead of them from the stylish sitting area. When mealtimes call, make the most of the excellent kitchen, with many amenities allowing you to create a heart-warming meal and serve it as a romantic meal for two at the dining space. As the evening wears on, enjoy a soak in the tub or a refreshing shower before snuggling up in the double bedroom. Outside, dine alfresco in the garden with a glass of your favourite beverage as the stars appear overhead. Wasperton is a lovely rural location resting within Warwickshire. Close to the property you will find walks at the National Trust’s Charlecote Park, and a Post Office and pub in the village of Barford. From here, visit Stratford-on-Avon for a glimpse into Tudor history at Tudor World, the birthplace of Shakespeare and a local museum, and here there is also a butterfly farm, riverside walks and Bancroft Gardens. Barford is a village and civil parish resting in the Warwick district of Warwickshire, England; situated about three miles south of Warwick. In March 2014 "The Sunday Times" listed the village as one of the Top 10 places to live in The Midlands. Within the village you will find two pubs, a hotel with swimming pool, and a village shop owned/run by the community. The Church of England primary school sits within the village, named "Barford St. Peters". The University of Warwick Boat Club trains on the River Avon at Barford. Three miles is Warwick, which contains some fine houses, and is home to a postal telegraph office under Warwick. The parish comprises Barford House, Barford Hall, and Watchbury House. Today, Barford is still surrounded by many of the original buildings, which hosted the essential trades and services that were common place in the Georgian and Victorian times.
