Avid historians will love exploring Tewkesbury Abbey, Painswick Rococo Garden or the remains of Chedworth Roman Villa (all within 28 miles). When you fancy shopping and good food, drive 11.5 miles to Cheltenham's Regency centre to stumble upon the lively food scene in the Montpellier district, visit the grand Pittville Pump Room, or perhaps use the train to access major cities like London or Birmingham. Afterwards, return to the farm and sink into the private hot tub together.
Leave the car beside the tree-fringed drive and wander through the landscaped grounds towards the cabin, with the lake setting the scene before you even reach the door. Inside, the curved roof, exposed beams and white wood-lined walls give the open-plan space the warm feel of a woodland hideaway. At one end is the modern kitchen, which is fully equipped for self-catering, while the adjoining dining nook has bench seating for relaxed meals overlooking the lake. Afterwards, curl up in front of the Smart TV on the soft seating and allow the cool air from the air conditioning to keep the cabin comfortable during warmer weather. A shower room with WC and a practical storage cupboard sit on the ground floor.
