There is a variety of wildlife right on the doorstep including barn owls, pheasants, rabbits and squirrels.
Wigley Orchard is an excellent base for touring and exploring the Welsh border counties with their heritage of castles, inns, churches and manor houses. Cadbury World and Ironbridge industrial museum (40 miles).
The small market towns of Tenbury Wells and Bromyard are both a ten minute drive away and provide a variety of shops and inns, as well as a swimming pool, theatre and leisure centre.. We stayed in an oak caravan, set on a hill with parking outside and beautiful views. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The balcony had garden furniture but no brolley, the owner found us one as soon as we asked if there was one available
