I would 100% recommend Kestrel Lodge, we have just returned from a Bank Holiday stay there and it's beautiful. The Lodge has extensive fields / garden for the dogs to run around in and is surrounding by farm land and beautiful views. It is idyllic, so relaxing and quiet. The lodge itself is gorgeous and so well equipped, it has everything you need for a great stay and there was a welcome hamper with the necessities - even a bag of dog treats for your pooches! Marlon and Kirsti are the owners and are very friendly and on hand to welcome you in and are around if you need anything. We will definitely be rebooking, thank you for a lovely stay :-)

Kestrel Lodge was a perfect place to stay. First class accommodation with views over open countryside. We enjoyed seeing the animals which the owners keep and children would appreciate them. The outside area was lawned and would provide lots of space for children. The welcome basket of goods was much appreciated. There is a lot to do in the local area and some lovely small villages to visit. We would choose to stay here again if we are back in the area.

Excellent places if you have a dog you want to take away with you. Safe and secure garden. Dogs allowed everywhere, supplied towels and treats. Definitely the best dog friendly place I have been to.
