Guests say

Deer Lodge is praised for its peaceful environment, cleanliness, and well-equipped nature, offering a special experience with local deer. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the reception is helpful with local information. Some minor issues were noted regarding missing amenities and a discrepancy in the property description.

Guests have reported the lodge to be beautifully clean upon arrival, indicating high standards of cleanliness.

There is insufficient information to accurately assess the location as reviews do not provide specific details about the surrounding area or its accessibility.

The lodge is described as comfortable and well-equipped, suggesting a high level of comfort for guests. However, a suggestion for softer lighting indicates a small area for improvement.

Facilities are generally good, with a well-equipped lodge, children's play area, and deer park. However, some guests noted missing pegs and bedside lamps, and there was a complaint about a misrepresentation of an en-suite facility.

While the reception provides free bags of food for feeding deer, which is a thoughtful touch, there is no mention of other gifts or thoughtful gestures that are consistently provided, so a score cannot be given.

Beautiful lodge and grounds but the lodge is lacking bedside lamps in the bedroom as it needs softer lighting to help you relax, also there was no dishwasher tables, as you need eco and not the ones I would bring from home, other than that it’s amazing

It states "1 x twin with en-suite cloakroom" and photo 24 of 31 shows this as an en-suite toilet and basin for a twin bedded room. Disappointed that this misrepresentation still persists, even though we told you and Park Leisure. Allowing this to persist does not appear in line with your contract terms. Also very disappointed that the manager of Malvern View appeared to contradict his apology when we were leaving by re-stating that an "1 x twin with en-suite cloakroom" is a just a cupboard and photos are only representative. The description does not warn that you might be allocated a lodge with key facilities missing. How do we avoid a repeat of this situation with any future booking with Sykes?

The lodge is very well equipped and comfortable. The park on which the lodge is situated is quiet and beautifully maintained. I have suggested the listing should be updated as there is so much more that isn't included; for example the lodge has a washer dryer, the park itself has a laundrette and a brilliant children's play area. The deer park is wonderful, being able to see the deer close up and feed them is very special (the reception provide free bags of food). The reception team were very knowledgeable about days out and even though there wasn't much information about what is nearby in the lodge, there are plenty of leaflets in the reception. The WiFi is free however you do need to ask reception for a code.
