Park up with off-road parking on offer, travelling through the shared garden and into your new abode. Be greeted by the open-plan living space, complete with a well-equipped kitchen, dedicated dining area, and plush seating, enveloping the Smart TV and lovely electric fire; you'll also locate a private courtyard to the rear, offering a nook to dine alfresco or enjoy an early morning coffee.
Spend evenings indoors or head to the games room for a competitive round of darts or pool, whilst the swimming pool offers a wonderful space to relax after a day of sightseeing. The pretty country town of Upton upon Severn lies on the banks of the River Severn and boasts a variety of delightful 17th century buildings and attractive shops, including 'The Pudding Shop', along with traditional inns, cafes, restaurants and its very own museum. It also plays host to many annual festivals, including Jazz, Folk and Blues Festivals, as well as the Sunshine Music Festival. This thriving small town has its own marina, a vineyard and well-stocked farm shop at the local fruit farm, plus the town’s medieval church, which is now a Heritage Centre, is topped by a striking 18th century cupola, known locally as 'The Pepperpot'. Just 6 miles away is the beautiful Worcestershire town of Malvern, and the dramatic Malvern Hills. An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Malvern Hills offer 100 miles of footpaths and bridleways, and form a 9 mile range of ancient rock. The Great Malvern Food Festival in June is well worth a visit, as are the many events at the Three Counties Show Ground and the Malvern Theatre, which welcomes productions from the West End and the Royal Shakespeare Company. There are many National Trust properties, vineyards and gardens in the area, as well as outdoor activities to suit all abilities. The nearby market towns such as Ledbury and Tewkesbury have a wealth of black-and-white houses and inns. A little further afield is the Royal Forest of Dean, the historic waterfront city of Gloucester, the spa town of Cheltenham, and the unspoilt towns and villages of the Cotswolds.

However, we were very pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of the property. The fact that you have to pass through the twin bedroom to get to the bathroom and main bedroom should highlighted more, we missed this information and did cause problem. The most unfortunate problem was the heating was intermitant and then failed completely, being Christmas it was not worth complaining, we did advise the owner, bit did not expect anything to be fixed due to christmas and the hot water failed on the last day. The swimming pool was good fun with the swim jet and jacuzzi end, however, the heating was via the house boiler so it felt cold.

The facilities were just as described and there was everything we needed. Having a door directly into the swimming pool was an added bonus and the pool was a lovely place to relax after a busy day out and about.
