Bursting with character and period features, professionally designed interiors and furnishings blend seamlessly with original beams, mullion windows and exposed brickwork, transporting its guests back to a bygone era of elegance and class. On entering The Gables, a spacious and well-equipped modern kitchen provides everything you need to make meal preparations a joy. The dining area is fully open to the kitchen and dominated by a stunning inglenook fireplace with a cosy wood burning stove and comfortable armchairs, ideal for relaxing with a glass of wine whilst dinner is cooking. After a fireside dinner, wander through to the charming sitting room with a second wood burning stove and inviting soft furnishings including a pretty cushioned window seat to quietly watch the world go by. Or, escape to the stylish, tartan themed snug with its own window seat and more comfy sofas.
Central to the house is a steep, wide staircase, with narrow tread, to the first floor and three tastefully furnished bedrooms and three shower rooms. Each bedroom has been individually decorated to complement the style of the house and offer a peaceful and calm space.
Outside, a large driveway provides parking for up to three cars and the lawned garden at the rear includes a patio and garden furniture for enjoying the summer months.
Honeybourne, a small and pretty village, is ideally situated just five miles from Chipping Campden in the Cotswolds, and only 12 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon, birthplace of William Shakespeare and home to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. The village has its own pub within walking distance and a railway station with a direct line to London and other Cotswolds destinations including Moreton-in-Marsh, Kingham and Oxford. The House was beautiful, wonderfully refurbed and redeveloped whilst still retaining its cosy and characterful identity. Furnishings and equipment top class and so well chosen. Perfect place in the Cotswolds to explore everywhere with the added bonus of a lovely old pub within easy walking distance of the house. Our stay over the Christmas week was perfect and enhanced by a lovely Christmas Tree in the sitting room and lights in the kitchen. Thank you to everyone for making our Christmas.

Beautiful cottage, fabulous beds and bed linen. Well equipped kitchen and great garden furniture. We were lucky with the weather and spent a number of afternoons relaxing in the lovely garden.
