It boasts the largest decking of the the lodges, offering an exceptional outdoor space designed with comfort and accessibility in mind. The spacious deck features step‑free, ramped access, making it ideal for less mobile guests or anyone who prefers easier movement around the exterior. With plenty of room to relax, dine, or simply enjoy the surroundings, it provides a welcoming and inclusive space for all. Carefully presented throughout, the lodge provides a comfortable place to return to after days spent exploring the surrounding countryside.

Outside, an enclosed decking area with outdoor furniture and a hot tub creates a relaxing space to enjoy some fresh air or unwind in the evening. Inside, the living and dining room is spacious and well laid out, offering plenty of room to relax together. The dining area is perfectly placed for leisurely meals. The kitchen is fully equipped to support self-catered stays, whether you are preparing light lunches or evening dinners after a day out. The accommodation includes two generously sized bedrooms, each designed with comfort and privacy in mind. One features a super-king-size bed, while the other offers a king-size, and both benefit from en-suite walk-in shower rooms.

Adding an extra touch of indulgence, the lodge also includes a private sauna, offering a welcome place to relax and recharge after walking or sightseeing. Off-road parking is available, and the lodge is dog friendly, allowing guests to bring along their dogs to enjoy the many nearby trails. Addingham itself is a pleasant village with a selection of local shops, cafés and pubs, all within easy reach. The surrounding area is rich in places to explore, including the scenic riverside walks and historic ruins of Bolton Abbey, which sits just a short drive away. The popular spa town of Ilkley is nearby, known for its moorland views, independent shops and choice of eateries, as well as access to Ilkley Moor.

Further afield, Skipton offers a lively market town atmosphere, complete with its impressive medieval castle, canal-side walks and regular market days. With the wider Yorkshire Dales close by, guests will find an abundance of walking routes, picturesque villages and sweeping landscapes to discover. Bears Den provides a comfortable and well-located base for enjoying village life, countryside walks and some of Yorkshire’s most loved towns and attractions.

The historic village of Addingham nestles in the valley of the River Wharfe between Ilkley and Skipton, just 3 miles from the Dales National Park at Bolton Abbey. In the Doomsday Book, Addingham is referred to as 'Ediham', which probably meant 'Home of Edi', the Earl Edwin of Bolton Abbey. A corn mill was mentioned in 1315, near where High Mill is today, and the weir across the river is one of the oldest medieval structures in the village. Today's village is a thriving, small community with several good pubs serving fine ale and excellent food, a scattering of small shops and a delightful golf course surrounded by breathtaking countryside. Nearby Bolton Abbey is one of the region's most scenic areas and the walk along the river to the 'Strid' is a must. The Victorian Spa town of Ilkley is worth a visit, with its wide streets, world-famous Box Tree Restaurant and Bettys Tea Rooms, while Ilkley Moor is the subject of Yorkshire's unofficial anthem “On Ilkla Moor Baht at”. Grassington and Malham are within reach, plus Skipton is also close by with its ancient castle, beautiful old parish church, colourful street market, canal trips and Embsay Steam Railway.
